Mr. Theerapat Pobkrut, a PhD student in Physics together with Mr. Sateha Siyang, a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering , the two students under supervision of Assist. Prof. Teerakiat Kerdcharoen, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, have jointly attended in the MIT Enterprise Forum & Global Social Venture Competition. These students presented their innovation on “Electronic Nose” which was organized as part of the IDE Thailand 2017 event, held at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok Hotel, in conjunction between University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and local private agencies, the event was launched as a Southeast Asia regional round competition.
The two students won the third runner up, were presented cash prize and be eligible to participate in a training that will be held in USA around June 2017, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). MIT is a private university; maintain its reputation for research and education in Chemistry, Physics and Engineering. The selected research innovations will be offered to local investors who may interest to build up further business development.
