Representatives of Faculty of Science, Mahidol University and Shimane University, Japan, discussed the possibility to cooperate on material science research

Delegates from Shimane University led by Dr.Chinnapat Panwisawas, senior fellow at Oxford and visiting Associate Professor at Shimane University, together with Professor Kazuto Arakawa, Next Generation Tatara Co-Creation Center (NEXTA), Shimane University, and Shimane Prefecture representatives, met with Associate Professor Rutaiwan Tohtong, Acting Associate Dean of Corporate Communications of Faculty of Science today to seek for the opportunity for research collaborations and bridging academic research and industry in the field of specialty metal, in particular heat-resistant superalloys for aircrafts and amorphous alloys for motors. Representatives from Department of Physics, Department of Mathematics, Department of Chemistry and School of Material Science and Innovation also joined the meeting to discuss the possibility to form collaboration through post-doctoral fellows.
