General Information for Abstract Submission

  1. Each presenter can submit only one abstract. 
  2. The abstract must be submitted according to the presentation type assigned by the presenter’s academic program. 
  3. All presenters must complete the registration during 1–30 April 2026. 
  4. Abstract submission period: 1–7 May 2026 (submission closes at 16:00 pm on 7 May 2026). Late submissions will not be accepted. 
  5. Accepted abstracts will be made available on the SciEx2026 website prior to the conference as part of the academic dissemination of the meeting.

IMPORTANT! Please note that accepted abstracts will be published on the SciEx2026 website prior to the conference. This is part of the academic dissemination process. Presenters who are not comfortable with their abstracts being publicly available online are kindly advised not to submit an abstract for presentation.

Abstract Preparation

  1. Abstract must be prepared using SciEx2026 abstract template and not exceed 250 words.
  2. Abstract must be written in English with grammar check proofreading.
  3. Abstract must include up to 5 keywords and may include one Figure (optional), not exceeding one page of A4 size.
  4. The abstracts must be submitted in both Word and PDF formats.
    – For the Word file, organizing committee will use them for abstract book preparation.
    – For the PDF file, the digital signature and email of the advisor must be then placed in the bottom-right of the page (see abstract example) – advisor’s signature is for the approval, verification, and consensus to present the work.
  5. Name your submission of abstract files:
    – Word file: MajorAssignedNumber_Student
    ID_NameSurname_ABS.doc or docx
    (Example: MA01_6505XXX_TichaCherdpol_ABS.doc/docx)
    – PDF file: MajorAssignedNumber_Student
    ID_NameSurname_AB.pdf
    (Example: MA01_6505XXX_TichaCherdpol_ABS.pdf)

    Note: Major is written as an abbreviation code of each study major. For plenary presentation, please name your abstract file as follow: MajorCodePlenary_6505XXX_TichaCherdpol_ABS.pdf
  6. Text and style requirements are provided in the abstract template. The abstract must not exceed one A4 page and must follow the specified margin settings.
  7. Download abstract template & sample abstract. The formats and guidelines can be found in the downloaded file.

          8.  Research topic’s format must be expressed under the APA style capitalization rules as follows:

    • Capitalize the first word of the title/heading and of any subtitle/subheading
    • Capitalize all major words (nouns, verbs including phrasal verbs such as “play with”, adjectives, adverbs, and pronouns) in the title/heading, including the second part of hyphenated major words (e.g., Self-Report, not Self-report)
    • Capitalize all words of four letters or more.
    • Lowercase only minor words that are three letters or fewer in a title or heading (except the first word in a title or subtitle or the first word after a colon, em dash, or end punctuation in a heading, e.g., a, an, the, and, by, for, etc.).
    • Lowercase the second word after a hyphenated prefix (e.g., Mid-, Anti-, Super-, etc.) in compound modifiers (e.g., Mid-year, Anti-hero, etc.).

Abstract Submission Conditions

  • Deadline for abstract submission: 7 May 2026, 16:00 h (sharp).
  • Abstracts must be submitted electronically by completing the presenter’s information via the exhibition website: https://science.mahidol.ac.th/sciex/2026 
  • A confirmation e-mail will be sent automatically to the presenter after submission. Notification will also be sent to the advisor within one week after submission. 
  • Revisions are not allowed after the submission deadline. 
  • The organizers reserve the right to reject any submission that does not comply with the specified requirements.
