ADVANCEMENT ABOUT INSECT BIOTECHNOLOGY at MUSC with
THE THIRD FAO/IAEA RESEARCH COORDINATION MEETING ON
Comparing Rearing Efficiency and Competitiveness of Sterile Male Strains Produced
by Genetic, Transgenic or Symbiont-based Technologies"

It was a good day at Salaya, Thailand today when the Regional R&D Training Center for Insect Biotechnology Faculty of a Science, Mahidol University and the Joint FAO/IAEA Division Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture were co-hosted the "THIRD FAO/IAEA RESEARCH COORDINATION MEETING ON Comparing Rearing Efficiency and Competitiveness of Sterile Male Strains Produced by Genetic, Transgenic or Symbiont-based Technologies" at Salaya Pavilion Hotel and Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus during 18 – 22 June 2018.

It is the exciting event that welcome the world-renowned scientific secretary, chief Scientific officers, co-worker, and observers, from 13 countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Republic of China, German, Greece, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Switzerland, Thailand, the United States of America to present the progress of collaborative research about insect genetic and biotechnology research. With the warm welcome and speech from Dr. Kostas Bourtzis Scientific Secretary, FAO/IAEA and the greeting and opening speeches from Assoc. Prof. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Dean of Facutly of Science, Mahidol University.
